My Homage to you:

Once in awhile I hear an amazing song that stops me in my path. It captures my interest and for that moment I feel disconnected to everything but the music. Like most I have a deep spiritual connection to music. Some songs I hear trigger something to make memories go off in my mind almost like an old fashioned slide show. This song sets off a montage of Jarred and I. I picture our sad moments, our happy moments and all in between. When we were 12, when we were graduating high school, when we were broken up and I moved to Spain, when we saw each other for the first time after I got back, all that we’ve been through and all our future holds. All the things that represent this wonderful, passionate love of ours.

It is written and sung by Rob Pattinson. Of course he couldn’t just be amazingly beautiful, a talented actor and in one of my favorite movies “Twilight” he's also deeply sensitive with an amazing beautiful voice. ♥ Here at the lyrics:

Standing there by the broken tree,
Her hands were all twisted, she was pointing at me.
I was damned by the light coming out of her eyes.
She spoke with a voice that disrupted the sky.
She said 'Walk on over yeah to the bit of shade,
I will wrap you in my arms and you'll know you've been saved'
Let me sign, let me sign, can't fight the devil so just let me sign.

I was out for a drink in a soho bar
The air was smoked out liked a cheap cigar
She rose out of her seat like a painted ghost
She was the woman that I wanted the most
As she reached for my arm I gave her my hand
I said 'Lay me down easy let me understand'
Let me sign, let sign, can't fight the devil so just let me sign.

As I walked through the door she was still in my head
As I entered the room she was laid there in bed
She reached out for me all twisted in black
I was on my way down, never coming back
let me sign, let me sign, can't fight the devil so just let me sign.

let me sign, let me sign, can't fight the devil so just let me sign.

It's Britney B*@&!

Britney is back whether you like it or not & I LOVE it. Her last two albums are amazing and filled with hit after hit. Her Circus Tour was perfection and the best performance I've seen in a long time. I saw her last weekend at the Sports Arena from an amazing spot on the floor. She looked flawless and she had the crowd going crazy. From circus acts, to beautiful costumes, to jaw dropping choreography her show was awesome and I can't wait to see what she comes up with next. You go Britney, I always knew you'd be back. ♥ ♥ ♥

One person can make a difference, everyone should try.

Hi everyone! You may have read on my breast cancer fundraising page that I am selling shirts! http://www.the3day.org/goto/CandaceLaree All of the profit goes towards the $2,300 I need to raise in order to participate in the 3 day breast cancer walk. I ordered some shirts a while back for an event we had and I have a few left over. I am placing an order September 10th for new shirts *plain black v-neck tee with our breast cancer team name* For the Love of Boobs across the front in white. Similar to the one pictured below:
They will be $25 a shirt. I am thinking or ordering plain black tee-shirts for the guys with the same "For the love of boobs" across the front for $25 as well. Please support me in my efforts and comment on my blog to place an order or email me at: dacandizzle@yahoo.com. Place your order by September 9th! Thanks and here's to finding a cure!

Bests & The City.

San Francisco was amazing as always. I just love exploring the city and reminiscing my childhood memories. The city is so alive. So much more than San Diego. I love both places, dont get me wrong. But they are so totally different. One thing I have noticed a few times now is people are much more friendly. I know this happens more in big cities, so that's probably the main reason why. People just seem happier, they smile at you instead of staring you down, and that's refreshing.

We had an awesome time. My mom made it all possible and I'm so grateful to my wonderful best friends for flying out. We explored the city, shopped, ate on haight street, partied & danced the night away. Couldn't have asked for a better time. Until our next adventure. My heart remains in San Francisco.

It's been too long..

So I have been beyond lagging in the posting department. I've been so busy with work and school and LIFE that I've been neglecting my poor blog. So my birthday resolution (yah you can make those) is to post more! So much has happened but it would take forever to backtrack so let's just focus on the most recent. My sisters wedding was last weekend and was beautiful! I've honestly never been to a wedding that was a complete representation of the couple in every way. From the flowers grown by the bride and her family to the handmade wedding dress to the custom made glasses made by bride and groom the wedding was "them." They are honestly the perfect couple and I am so happy they found each other. I know they're going to have a wonderful life together. Here are some of the photos:
