For the love of Boobs ♥

This year, I'll be participating in a very special event called the Breast Cancer 3-Day.

I'll walk 60 miles over the course of three days with thousands of other women and men. The net proceeds will support breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment through Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund.

I've agreed to raise at least $2,300 in donations. I need your help! I am fundraising with my team. We are trying to organize a silent auction and some other events to raise money as well. Any donation helps. Keep in mind how far I'm walking - and how hard I'll have to train. You can give online at www.The3Day.org. Just follow the link below to visit my personal fundraising webpage and make a donation. You can also call 800.996.3DAY to donate over the phone.

Both of my grandmothers are breast cancer survivors. My grandma Laura Lee Parks passed away this last Christmas so I am dedicating this walk to her. Please support me and my team: For the love of boobs. You can donate to my on my page at:

Thank you in advance for your generosity!

Candace Laree Pollock

i left my heart in San Francisco.

We had an amazing time in Norcal last weekend. We stayed @ The Cova Hotel in downtown SF for two nights and did it all. We went to Fishermans Warf and went through the underwater aquarium on pier 39. We shopped in union square. We ate on haight street. We even drove down Lumbard street. On valentines night we took a drive across devils slide to Half Moon bay and hung out with my friend Liz and her boyfriend Will. On Sunday we drove to Healdsburg and stayed with my sister Jennifer and Nathan at their house. We had an amazing dinner and did some wine tasting. We got to see Nathans Winery and even try some of my dads wine. We did a little shopping in town and then finished off the trip with some more wine tasting at the wine shop. We had a wonderful time..and I hope we go back soon! xoxox Candace Laree'

San Francisco Dreamin'

Jarred and I have decided to be gypsies this year! <3
We just got back from Vegas last weekend which ended up being an amazing trip!
The last two times I visited Vegas didn't work out so well so it was time to make up for it! We stayed at Treasure Island with our friends Jon and Lindsey. My co-workers; Baek, Mye, Gin, Charles and Josh surprised us Friday night though and drove up for the weekend! <--They're Vegas addicts! We went to TAO & Body English and had SUCH a good time!
Our next destination is San Francisco next weekend and I am SO excited. I grew up in the bay area and I have never taken Jarred there in the 5 years we've been together. We are flying into SF and renting a car but we are staying with my oldest sister in Santa Rosa. I'm going to show him HMB, Pacifica, where I lived in SF and we also get to see a couple of my friends while we're there. Less than a week until we leave and I'm San Francisco Dreamin'!

Mountain High Trip-Saturday January 17th

This was both mine and Jarred's first time snowboarding and we had an amazing time.
I'm totally battered and bruised but it was well worth it. It's about a 2 hour drive from San Diego and in a beautiful town called Wrightwood. It sort of reminds me of Julian but maybe a little more modern or suburban. We took lessons and THANK GOD we did or we would be totally lost. My friend Cristy from work warned me the hardest thing would be getting off the lift and she was 100% right. First lift we take I faceplant it into the snow hitting my head on Jarred's knee and my knee on his snowboard. YAH. That took my excitement down a couple pegs. It was an awesome time though and we will definitley be going back this year!

My Guardian Angel

My grandmothers funeral was on January 6th @ 2pm at Holmans Funeral Home in Portland Oregon. It was extremely hard saying goodbye to my grandma, but even harder seeing my family in pain over our loss. We went through her house in Portland and found thousands of pictures among tons of hidden treasures. I got to see my grandmothers wedding dress and my grandfathers old belongings. My grandmother left me her wedding ring and I fill up with happiness every day when I look down at it. It reminds me of her. It represents her to me and to have her on my left hand to look down at anytime I want is amazing. Everyday is hard to get through and I have times where I break down, but it gets easier each day. Someday we will meet again. I love you grandma Laura.
